My recent stay at a hostel in Cairo was quite an experience. The warm welcome I received really set the tone for my time in this bustling city. Eslam, the manager, was communicative and helped organize a pyramids tour that went off without a hitch. The spacious room was perfect for my family, equipped with clean facilities and a reliable shower-ideal after a long day of exploring. Although it faced some street noise, it felt secure in the area, and we enjoyed some local Egyptian meals nearby. One highlight was the staff's dedication. Mohamed, Ahmed, and Tawil were always available to assist with anything, from storing luggage to prepping an early breakfast. Their approach made us feel at home. Plus, the free Wi-Fi and internet corner were handy conveniences for keeping in touch with family back in Auckland. While not having an elevator might be a challenge for some, we managed just fine. This hostel offered a solid blend of comfort and local charm, making it a memorable part of our Cairo adventure. It's a great option if you're looking for budget-friendly accommodations.
